Turn tired feet happy with Epsom salt soak!!

After a long day on your feet, or if you’re carrying a little more weight than you like and deal with tired and swollen feet, a quick 20 minute Epsom salt soak can provide relief you need. Epsom salt has natural anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties that lets you create your own relaxing 20 minute at home spa treatment. Being relatively inexpensive, a cup to two cups Epsom salt mixed with hot water, and your favorite TV episode is just the right ingredients to a good soak and happy feet. In addition to using Epsom salt for your feet, a variation use can be for sore muscles as a whole body soak. Epsom salt causes the skin and body to absorb magnesium from the salt which naturally helps relax your muscles and minimize soreness. To create a full body soak you will use four to six cups Epsom salt mixed with hot tub water. If you enjoy the use of essential oils you are more than welcome to include a few drop of melaleuca and lavender to any of your hot water soaks. Epsom salt is available for purchase at locations such as Walgreens, CVS, Walmart or Target in the pharmacy, or health and beauty sections.
