That matters most if you have diabetes, poor circulation, a weakened immune system or are going through cancer treatment, where a small nick from a salon pedicure can turn into a slow-healing wound. It also matters if you simply want a pedicure you can trust to be clean.

Medi Spa appointments are available Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, so you can book around work and school.

Medical Pedicures, Manicures & Nail Restoration

What is a medical pedicure?

A medical pedicure is a pedicure performed in a clinical setting with sterilized instruments and staff trained to spot problems such as ingrown toenails, fungal nails, corns, calluses or skin changes. It still feels like a spa visit, but safety comes first. At Choice Medi Spa we offer both a wet medical pedicure, with an antibacterial and antifungal soak, and a waterless pedicure for clients who prefer to skip the soak.

Pedicures and foot care

  • Medical pedicures, wet with an antibacterial and antifungal soak, or waterless
  • High-Priority Pedicures for clients with controlled diabetes, those in cancer treatment, or anyone with health concerns that call for extra precautions
  • Callus removal and nail cutting, filing and repair
  • Exfoliation, paraffin treatments and foot massage
  • Polish and gel, plus nail art

Manicures

  • Manicures, including manicures for kids and men
  • Gel and dip powder
  • Hand and foot massage, paraffin and polish

Nail restoration: KeryFlex and OnyFix

KeryFlex restores the look of toenails damaged by fungus, injury or other conditions, using a flexible resin bonded to the natural nail. It can help you feel comfortable in sandals again while the nail is cared for. OnyFix is a no-cutting brace that gently guides a curved or ingrown toenail to grow flatter. Some nails need a medical evaluation first. Dr. Iwu can check whether a nail needs treatment before restoration. See our fungal nail and skin conditions page and ingrown toenail treatment for the medical side.

Relaxation treatments

  • Reflexology
  • Aromatherapy with essential oils
  • Spa packages combining pedicure, massage and paraffin

Safe pedicures for diabetic feet

People with diabetes are often told to avoid salon pedicures because of the risk of cuts and infection. Our High-Priority Pedicure is designed for exactly that situation: sterilized instruments, extra care around the skin and nails, and a clinical team who knows what to look for. If we notice something that needs medical attention, such as a wound, an ingrown nail or a skin change, Dr. Iwu is right here. Read more about daily diabetic foot checks.

Pedicure Membership

If regular foot care is part of your routine, our Pedicure Membership makes it simpler and more affordable to keep up. Ask the front desk about current membership options when you book.

What we don't offer

To keep the focus on healthy nails and feet, Choice Medi Spa does not offer acrylic or sculpted nails, nail extensions, facials, eyelash extensions, waxing or back massage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a medical pedicure and a salon pedicure?

A medical pedicure is done in a clinical setting with sterilized instruments and staff who can spot foot problems like ingrown nails, fungus or skin changes. At Choice Medi Spa, services are overseen by podiatrist Dr. Vivian Iwu, which lowers the risk of infection and nail damage.

Is a medical pedicure safe if I have diabetes?

Yes. Our High-Priority Pedicure is designed for clients with controlled diabetes, those in cancer treatment, and anyone with health concerns, with sterilized tools and extra precautions. If anything needs medical attention, Dr. Iwu can see you in the same office.

Do you offer waterless pedicures?

Yes. You can choose a waterless pedicure or a wet medical pedicure with an antibacterial and antifungal soak.

What is KeryFlex and who is it for?

KeryFlex is a flexible resin applied to the natural toenail to restore its appearance after damage from fungus, injury or other conditions. Some nails need a medical check first, which Dr. Iwu can do in the same visit or beforehand.

Do you offer acrylic nails or facials?

No. Choice Medi Spa focuses on healthy nails and feet, so we do not offer acrylic or sculpted nails, nail extensions, facials, eyelash extensions, waxing or back massage.

When can I book a Medi Spa appointment?

Medi Spa appointments are available Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Request a time online or call (770) 702-8723.
